Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth
It is a pleasure to introduce myself as the Artistic Director of the Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth, Inc. (BFFW) family. We are a nonprofit folkloric Mexican dance organization incorporated on June 2, 2005. I have over 30 years of experience as a folkloric Mexican dancer and many of my students have been performing together for over eight years. As an organization, we feel a great sense of pride to have the experience of learning and sharing our culture with those around us. It is for this reason that we are so delighted to have gained the community’s acceptance and support so quickly. We strive to be a huge part of the vision of the future of Fort Worth.
The BFFW’s mission is to encourage appreciation of the Mexican culture through the education of its history by teaching its traditional dance and music to people of all ages, thereby instilling pride and respect of its heritage. Along with our dancers, the BFFW Board, parents, and volunteers are very energetic and ready to serve the organization in fulfilling its mission. We are blessed to have the support of the community and give thanks for their continued encouragement.
